First Day Beijing
Upon arrival you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel. You will be free at leisure this day, and our tour guide can offer you professional suggestion.
Second Day Beijing
Today, you'll visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City. After lunch, we'll explore the spectacular Summer Palace, once a summer resort for the imperial family, and view the palace grounds from a Lake Kunming tour boat in summer or from Longevity Hill in winter. For dinner, it's delicious Beijing roast duck.
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Beijing Roast Duck Dinner.
Third Day Beijing
Today is set aside for a cultural excursion to the unforgettable Great Wall – a must-see attraction for all who visit China. After lunch, we'll move on to the Ming Tombs, featuring giant marble statues along the Sacred Way guarding the massive tombs of emperors (1368-1644AD).
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Fourth Day Beijing
Our guide will meet you at your hotel at 8:30 AM. The Temple of Heaven is your first stop. This was where the emperors prayed for good harvests, sought divine approval and atoned for the perceived sins of the people. Afterward, you're off on a rickshaw hutong tour. In the hutong's narrow lanes and alleys, you'll witness the charm of old Beijing and get a taste of local street life. For dinner, we'll eat like Beijingers at a local restaurant before attending a Kung Fu show.
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Fifth Day Beijing / Guilin
After breakfast, you will fly to Guilin. On arrival, our guide will take you to visit Elephant Trunk Hill—famous Guilin landmark—Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave, a 790 foot deep dripstone cave, which includes myriads of stalactites and stalagmites of amazing colors.
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Sixth Day Guilin / Yangshuo / Guilin
On today's trip, you'll see one of China's most beautiful river landscapes and experience the charms of Yangshuo's West Street (Xi Jie).
Boating the 83 kilometers from Guilin to Yangshuo on the Li River's limpid, crystalline waters will take you through a landscape that is both serene and dramatic, with jagged limestone peaks towering over lush fields and calm waters.
Once you arrive in Yangshuo, you'll tour West Street, where you'll find a colorful, warm and lively neighborhood in the midst of the area's romantic environs. You'll have plenty of time to explore Yangshuo's shops and markets. Finally, you'll have dinner in Guilin before being brought back to your hotel.
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Seventh Day Guilin / Shanghai
In the morning you'll take a flight to Shanghai. You will be driven through the old downtown area and take a walk along the Bund to experience this diverse city.
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Eighth Day Shanghai
Shanghai Museum is something you do not want to miss. It has a great collection of ancient Chinese art—bronze, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy. Your trip will continue to the Yu Gardens, a tranquil Chinese garden. Then we'll take in Jade Buddha Temple, where two rare jade statues of the Sakyamuni Buddha are stored. We will offer you an entertaining acrobatic show after dinner.
Includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
