| Crown Cave |

Crown Cave, located in Caoping Village, 29 kms away from south of Guilin city, is one of the most famous tourist spots along Li River. The shape of Crown Cave, standing on the bank of the Li River, for hundreds of years, has attracted countless poets, scholars and nobles. In 1637, Xu Xiake, a famous ancient traveler in China, visited here and was considered as the first visitors to this cave.

The cave lasts about 12kms, and only 3kms near the river is explored. Due to the perennial obturation, the cave has been well preserved. Inside the cave, grotesque stalagmites stand here and there, leading people into a fairyland.
An underground stream originating from Mt. Haiyang empties ,flows into the Li River from this cave,.Equipped with artificial lights and sound control guide system, the cave now looks more enchanting than ever. Besides, modern facilities such as railroad car, yacht and sightseeing elevator provide convenience to visitors. |

A crag like crown gives the hill the name----Crown cave. The hill is a popular and important stop for both river cruise tourists and those arriving from Guilin City by bus tour. Crown Cave is a twelve kilometer long, It is a wonderland of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations. It was opened to tourists in 1995 and is fitted with illuminating lights, a sound control tour guide system and escalators. Tourists are able to see all of the most interesting areas by specially designed cars and boats. |

Visitors can reach there by bus from Guilin ,or making a stop at the Crown Cave Dock during your sailing along the Li River. when rafting on the river, people not only can enjoy the wonderful sceneries in the cave, but also can experience the pleasure of exploration.
